Review: Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

REVIEW - Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

Today on The Lovely Nerds I am bringing you a review of Too Faced's newest bronzer, Milk Chocolate Soleil. Want to see more? Keep reading -->
I previously did a review of the original chocolate bronzer. It was too dark for me so it ended up going back to the store. It is available for purchase at Sephora, Ulta and any other stores that carry the Too Faced line. It retails for $29.00 for 0.35oz of product.

What Sephora says about this product:

What it is:
A light matte bronzer infused with real cocoa powder and long-wearing pigments.

What it does:
Too Faced has combined the natural detoxifying effects of real cocoa powder with their signature bronzing pigments to create a lighter version of their bestselling Chocolate Soleil original matte bronzer. The Milk Chocolate shade is perfectly suited for pale to medium skintones for a touch of summer warmth all year-long.

This product works much better with my skintone than the original one did. The original was too dark and too red on my face. This one meshes better as it is a lighter color and has less red undertones to it.

Milk Chocolate has the same delicious chocolate scent that the original is and comes in the same kind of packaging. The large mirror in the compact is the same as well.

This bronzer is a lovely peachy beige shade and is completely matte. I apply this with an angled contour brush just to the contour of my cheeks. Before this product I had not found a bronzer that worked for me, this one is a winner for NW20 and lighter skintones. It would work with yellower skintones as well. You could use this as a blush, bronzer or even an eyeshadow if you wanted.

THE GOOD:
« The pigment.
« The smell.

THE BAD:
« I'm not a huge fan of the packaging.
ITS JUST ALRIGHT:
« The price. Some may feel that around 30.00 is too much for a bronzer.

OVERALL:
If you have lightish skin and have had trouble finding a bronzer that works, I strongly suggest you giving this one a look next time you're in Sephora or Ulta.
Rating:
Use: 5/5
Packaging: 3/5
