Lavender Lipstick Comparison

Lavender Lipstick Comparison

Today on The Lovely Nerds, I am bringing you a comparison of three lavender lipsticks. Want to see more? Keep reading -->

After picking up my 11th Revlon Lip Butter in Gumdrop lately, I decided I should do a comparison of some lavender lipsticks. I adore this shade, but it can be difficult to pull off.

The shades I am showing you are Lavender Whip from Mac, Asian Flower from Mac and Revlon's Gumdrop Lip Butter.

These colors are swatched heavily to show color.

Lavender Whip and Asian Flower are much more pigmented than Gumdrop, they are also thicker. Gumdrop is nearly invisible when swiped once onto my arm. It does provide more pigment on the lips though.

All three lipsticks have a similar finish to them, they are satiny shades with just a little bit of a glossy look to them.

Gumdrop wears off the fastest, followed by Lavender Whip and then Asian Flower.

Lavender Whip is more pink than Gumdrop, which is a lilac shade. Asian Flower is even further into the pink family than they other two.

All three are great lipsticks, but if you have pigmented lips I would not recommend the lip butter.

Thanks for reading :)
